Adelaide trio dodge jail over bestiality offences

Garry Paul Reichelt, his wife Tina Marion Reichelt and Kathleen Modystack had each admitted to the criminal sex act, committed in early 2009.

In the District Court today Judge Geoffrey Muecke said the offence was uncommon and the product of the sexual curiosity of all parties.

He said comments made by Tina Reichelt, 53, online about the activity were "graphic and gross".

"The offence of bestiality is one that has not commonly come before this court. I have not ever had to sentence anyone for this crime," Judge Muecke said.

He said the maximum penalty of 10 years' imprisonment was shared by crimes including acts to endanger life, possession of an object with intent to kill, unlawful sexual intercourse and production of child pornography.

Lunenburg County man denies bestiality, sex assault allegations

BRIDGEWATER — The Lunenburg County man facing bestiality and sexual assault charges says the allegations against him are “bogus.”

The 39-year-old took the stand at his Supreme Court of Nova Scotia trial in Bridgewater Monday, and denied all the allegations against him, including threatening to kill his former girlfriend, her father, and his ex-wife.

Man who had sex with dog won't be charged because of unusual reason

CLEARWATER — The Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney's Office has declined to pursue a charge of animal cruelty under the state's new bestiality law against a man accused of having oral sex with a dog.

Clearwater police began investigating 29-year-old Eric Antunes earlier this year when they received a tip that he possessed child pornography.

Investigators searched his computer and said they found child pornography, but also six photos of Antunes performing sexual acts with Ruby, a three-legged dog that belongs to his girlfriend, Katerina Williamson.

Antunes had worked as a contract employee at the Pinellas County Humane Society and Williamson was medical director there. She left that post days after Antunes was arrested.

In 2011, the Florida Legislature passed a bill outlawing bestiality by a vote of 115-0. But it turns out there is a gap in the law: It doesn't cover oral sex with an animal.

FunnyJunk lawyer sues The Oatmeal for bestiality cartoon

The media attorney hired to threatened TheOatmeal.com with a defamation lawsuit is now personally suing the humor site's creator. And a drawing is the reason.

Oatmeal creator Matthew Inman drew that cartoon after attorney Charles Carreon threatened legal action on behalf of FunnyJunk.com. Inman blogged about FunnyJunk hosting his work without permission, and now FunnyJunk says he's damaged their brand - among other charges. The site demanded $20,000 in compensation.

Inman responded by drawing a cartoon of Carreon's mother - or the FunnyJunk site administrator's mother, depending on where you get your information - attempting to seduce a Kodiak bear. He also launched a fundraising campaign to raise $20,000, which he said he'd donate to charity.

[1) EVERY animal that has ever existed (from dinosaurs, whales, insects and humans) all have the desire to mate and reproduce. When humans domesticated dogs, dogs and humans became close friends and constant compians ever since. Today many people own dogs. Some people own several some people only own one. Often if a person just owns one dog, a dog will go through his entire life with out mating. Imagine a person trying to do this! I don't think it's possible! Please remember that people can and do masturbate when they don't have a partner. Dogs don't maturbate.

2)Many time when a male dog is raised by humans, they rarely encounter other dogs especially female dogs. In most cases, the only females that male dogs encounter on a regular basis are women!

3)Women like all female animals secrete powerful horomones through their genitals called pheremones. Pheremones are used to attract and turn on the opposite sex. While women do secrete pheremones through out their bodies, women produce the strongest and most scents from their genitals (just like EVERY other female animal. Now anyone who knows anything about dogs, knows that dogs have a strong sense of smell. Much stronger than humans. While a womens vaginal pheremones are hard for men to smell (at least when women are clothed and not standing nearby men), they are not hard for male dogs to smell when fully clothed and standing not close by. Unlike other female animals, women can and do become fertile year around and do mate much more regular than most female animals. So that being said, women are constantly producing vaginal pheremones.]

Bestiality woman was 'sexually naive', Adelaide District Court told

A WOMAN who has confessed to bestiality committed the crime out of sexual naivety, a forensic psychologist says. In South Australia's District Court today, Allen Fugler gave evidence about the behaviour of Tina Marion Reichelt in the two months leading to her November 2009 arrest for having sex with a dog. Reichelt, 53, her husband Garry Paul Reichelt, 51, and Kathleen Modystack, 58, have pleaded guilty to one count each of bestiality.
